Description
This e-learning course provides a general overview of the themes and issues surrounding the subject of equality, diversity and inclusion. It introduces the relevant legislation and considers some responses to situations where action is necessary to promote respect and dignity. Equality, Diversity and Inclusion also considers acceptable behaviours and language with it comes to the prevention of bullying and harassment in the workplace. It helps promote best practice, which in turn will benefit both your customers and colleagues.

Modules:
1. Introduction

2. Promoting diversity and inclusion
Highlights the benefits of introducing a policy of promoting diversity and inclusion in the workplace.

3. Definitions
Discusses the definitions of equality, diversity and inclusion and how to create an inclusive culture for both customers and colleagues.

4. Assumptions and stereotyping
Takes a look at the dangers of making assumptions and the stereotyping of individuals, as well as providing a background of these themes along with relevant examples.

5. Equality Act (2010)
Addresses the importance of the Equality Act and explains how it protects against discrimination, along with examples.

6. Knowledge check
A quiz requiring an 80% score to pass.

Approximately 40 mins (including quiz), though no time limit set.
